We were asked to create a retreat for his family to relax in and enjoy year round. We did this by maximizing his lawn area, creating multiple sitting areas, adding a custom water wall and utilizing a relaxing play of plants to create the ambience he was looking for.
This yard began with unusable space and old materials streweb around the yard. We did a complete overhaul, repurposed those materials, added the pool, lounge areas, dining areas, drought tolerant landscaping & new fencing/gates.
This home owner moved into their beautiful new home, but in desperate need for some new landscaping. We had the opportunity to revamp their front curb appeal, while also allowing a kid friendly front lawn.
This couple decided to trade in their old pool and concrete yard for a lush living area so they could enjoy the year-round California weather. We added a large covered patio complete with fire pit lounge, custom bar-b-q and floating seating area.
In this case, the client wanted a way to escape at the end of the day into a rear yard oasis with a water feature and an intimate fire pit seating area. Add in a cozy lounge and drought-tolerant landscaping and we have a yard the client was very happy to call her own.
It doesn't hurt for your client to be a successful Interior Designer herself. Here we made a great design team, bringing about her designer's dream backyard living spaces.
This is such a great family with a big life, but unfortunate small yard. Here we accommodated to their full of life toddler as well as a young hip couple, maximizing it's usability.
Here we transitioned this full backyard hillside into a terraced outdoor living space, on a budget. We created multiple lounge areas, a dining area and even a kid's play area.
The client wanted an intimate terrace living area while her dogs could play on a newly created lawn. With the client's vision of converting her existing hillside into a retained grass area we also added a new landscape design that compliments the whimsical details of the house itself.
This yard was literally a dirt pile before we got out hands on it. We kept layering and layering the design until we landed at the perfect combination of what the client wanted.
A play-ready family that wanted to take advantage of their existing large backyard:
New landscaping, Bluestone pathway, Decomposed Granite garden pathway for the kids to run through & synthetic turf to tie in with a putting green.
Here we created a traditional drought tolerant landscape. To spice things up we added a "dry river" made of large rocks. This helped to give the project more curb appeal, rather than having that "flat" drought tolerant landscape.
In Southern California we yearn towards that low water landscape. This couple wanted to continue their traditional home aesthetic so here we made it work, using more traditional low water plants.
Here we created a custom Trex deck, Redwood pergola, synthetic turf, lighting, pergola ceiling fan & low water landscaping. This yard was geared towards kids that can run out and play & some Summer fun dining!
This was for a beautiful family with a potentially beautiful home. We came in and helped them from design through installation, bringing to life that curb appeal they were hoping for!
